Challenging battles at high profile circuits with equally balanced cars for a tight budget. That’s a short summary of what the Competition102 GT4 European Series offered their teams and drivers during its 2015 season. Offering value for money to PRO and AM drivers is one of the series’ key values. Its proven concept now organised and promoted by SRO Motorsports Group earned its place in the international motorsport scene and will remain the same in 2016.

Vehicles equally balanced
The SRO Motorsports Group conducts not only the Balance of Performance (BoP) of the Competition102 GT4 European Series, but it also ensures an equal BoP for the always-exciting Blancpain GT Series. SRO can count on 20 years of experience, including more than nine years with GT4 cars, to ensure fair championship battles.

A wide range of cars are eligible to race like the brand new Ekris BMW M4 GT4 and the Porsche Cayman GT4. In 2015 the KTM X-BOW GT4, Porsche Cayman 981 SP and Sin R1 GT4 made its debut in the series. Among other GT4-spec cars are the successful Aston Martin Vantage, BMW M3 GT4, Chevron GR8 GT4, Chevrolet Camaro GT4, Ginetta G50 and G55, Lotus Evora GT4, Mustang FR500C, Nissan 370Z GT4 and Porsche 911 (997) GT4.

Value for money
The running costs for a GT4 car in the Copmetition102 GT4 European Series is much lower in comparison with its GT3 sister. To keep racing during leading international events accessible, the GT4 philosophy remains the same: keeping the costs down to ensure value for money.

The organisation can count on extensive knowledge and enjoys approval by the FIA as an International Series. As a result, six high profile circuits in six different countries are listed on the 2016 calendar, supporting racing series like the Blancpain GT Series, the British GT Championship and DTM.

Last year, races of the Competition102 GT4 European Series were broadcasted live on YouTube, Motors TV and Dutch channel RTL7. The organization is currently working on a promising media campaign for 2016. It will include extensive video coverage, social media interaction and online visibility.
