Academy Motorsport has confirmed the line-up for its Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in the GT4 European Series Northern Cup.

Team boss Matt Nicoll-Jones will join 27-year-old Will Moore, who was part of the team’s lineup at the 2016 season finale at Zandvoort and raced for the team full-time in 2015.

“I’m really excited for the season ahead.  I had a great season with Academy and the Aston in 2015, so when the opportunity came up to return and with Matt as my team-mate, I didn’t hesitate,” commented Moore.

“Matt and I get on very well and we know the car inside out, the team is extremely professional and I know they will set it up perfectly. I’m looking forward to continuing my development.”

Nicoll-Jones, who opted for a management role after the 2013 season, is looking forward to return to the driver’s seat alongside Moore.

“It’s great for the team to be back racing again.  I’ve personally missed the fun of going racing, it will be great to get back behind the wheel,” said Nicoll-Jones.

Nicoll-Jones and Moore will also race together in the GT4 class of the British GT Championship.
